All good info, Ryne. But the failing tie-rod was something my mechanic observed during the installation of the springs.

That is from my own experience with mixed highway and city driving.
Ensure zero toe and zero cross camber and you should be fine.

This will always vary person to person depending on your daily commute, etc.

Example: All straight highway would have a little more camber wear than someone who lives on back roads and commutes on them often.

Finally got the car aligned today. Toe has been corrected all around (which is key). Camber on the fronts are at -1.3* and -1.5*, and the rears are at -2.1* and -2.2*. Both are out of spec (obviously), but I pretty much expected that from this thread.

Being a little bit over 2* in the rear gives me some worry, but averaging only 5K miles/year the accelerated wear should be live-able. I can't swap wheels front to back, because staggered. And I can't swap the tires side-to-side, because PSS are asymmetrical, so it would be the same wear either way. But I need the rears to camber in so they don't poke as much as otherwise. I seem to be averaging under 6000 miles per year, split between summers and snows. Maybe it's not that big of a deal, IDK. I've really grown to love these VOSSENS, and I'm like 90% happy with the drop, even though it's not perfectly consistent front-2-back.

It is what its is. Time to accept it and move on.

I'd get the rear SPC camber arms, they don't cost much (for what you've already invested) and shortening the life of those PSS will cover the cost of those arms pretty quick, but w/ your low miles driven I guess it's

But if I bring the negative camber in the rear into spec, then I poke again, so...

Get the Camber kits for the front and rear, and allow the car to perform to its maximum capability.

I know the front camber is non adjustable with stock arms, but is rear adjustable?

That isnt too bad with a RWD car IMO.

Ha, using the word "invest" with cars always makes me laugh a bit, theyre such a waste of money

For those who are the northeast or snowy areas and dropped on Swift's, do you find it too low for the snow in the winter? I would love to drop my car but I'm afraid with the snow that it will be too low.

I see you are in Boston so you have gotten it worse this year. Looking to drop the bad boy soon. Looks much better in my opinion, the car sits too high.

Got mine installed today. Don't like it at all LOL. Uneven gap distance front/rear. Looks as if I only installed springs in the rear to the untrained eye.

Also need a camber kit as well. This just blows.

I love my swifts! My X sits lower in the front than the rear and rides really smooth.

When you get swifts, you need to get anything else? camber kit? wheel spacers?
