Coilover spring rate help needed
Hi guys,
I need some help!! I just bought a 2010 G37s coupe and before the license plate is here I'm already deep into the mods. Though I ran into a problem with my coilovers. I picked up a set of new Ksport coilovers locally on Craigslist and installed them with just a small tire to fender gap and they look great but dam their stiff. I have coilovers on a few of my other cars so yes they are installed right and preload is correct. I have tried turning the damping down to zero but then the car bounces due to the fast rebound. I want to to try softer springs but can't figure out what to try. Stock Ksport springs should be 12f 6.3r, but I keep reading guys running 8k rear springs in the coilover position, could this be right? It's hard to come up with the proper rear spring rate as most rear springs are in the stock location and run around 10, in the coilover position they need to be much softer but not sure by how much. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the Ksport's on your car?
If so:
What damper settigng are you running?
Do you find it to stiff? To bouncy?
Front? Back? Both?
I live 30min away from Ksport in Phoenix,Az and have been talking to them a bit and hope they will let me try some different spring rates.
