Those were my sentiments exactly. I am so burnt out on this. I have done everything they asked and am praying the shocks they are shipping will rectify this issue. I have much more important things to occupy my weekends with.

I was told that tgey dont issue refunds for "used coil overs". Huh????? Used?

I wanna never have to reply to this thread ....... again........ omg.

So glad I went with Swifts. Let's hope Fortune Auto can do all us X owners a solid. However I am going to wait until there is 100% confirmation there are no issues with those before I pull the trigger in the future. Although I think the Swifts are going to make me perfectly happy.

To "BC" or not to "BC". That is the question.

NOT!

After 5 months of toying w BC and their company, I have, up to now, had these damned rears off 4 times.... pictures..... checking ..... rechecking..... tightening..... anyway, anyone interested can read the last 5 or so pages for specifics.

This weekend I got the time to once again, pull lug nuts off. This time to replace the rear shocks that they finally shipped me.

The Short story: noisy, rattling, creaking is GONE!. The shocks themselves, not anything else!!!, were the culprit. Not an install error. This noisiness, btw, was from the initial install. Not gradual.

Of course, to get to this point, in the eyes of BC RACING, I had to jump thru virtual hoops, etc, etc. I tried to deal w them thru PM's to keep my mouth shut, if they would just refund my money, only to be told "they dont give refunds on USED EQUIPMENT!" (Used? Really? That one really got to me.)

So...... their defective products will go back to them today via UPS. Every company has defective merchandise....... thats NOT what my complaints are. Not at all.

I wouldn't be writing this if they had been upfront, professional and conducted themselves accordingly. It was all the negative finger pointing and accusatory so called "installation errors" and many emails and VM's that weren't ever answered. Weeks went by..... nothing.

My personal opinion for anyone looking to purchase coil overs for their cars...... is to look elsewhere. I wouldn't want anyone else to go though what some of us have...... and still are.

Hope they stay quiet.. Worst $1000.00 ever spent.

i know most of these posts show how crappy BCs are but there are always 2 sides to every coin.

I ve had BCs on for about 4 to 5 years now. I installed them myself and it was actually my very first mod i did along with intakes so the probability of something going horribly wrong were pretty up there. The install went well and didnt hear any of the clunking noises described. after a while a creek kinda developed in the rear i m assuming its coming from the spring bucket (it comes and goes, not noticable when i have the music on the 2nd lowest)

These BCs started in Colorado for about 2 years being driven through snow, rain, and super hot summers. after that i drove home to NJ there i made some height adjustments i was quite surprised that the coils wernt siezed to the point i would have to take em off my car. After a summer in NJ i drove out to Nebraska where i am currently stationed and went through 2 more winters. Just a week ago i was able to lower my G again in the parking lot using nothing but some PB blaster and the spanner wrenchs. again i was super surprised.

Overall i am happy with them the only change i would make would be purchasing the swift springs upgrade for them as the G is my DD. For the price just shy of $1000 they arnt terrible but i would never expect them to perform like the higher priced coils. I would only swap them out for the top tier coils.

Loving my Swifts, they seem to have gotten smoother over the course of a couple of weeks. After my interior rattles were fixed the car has not made any kind of noises what so ever. The drop is honestly perfect too, I would not want to be any lower.

2011 G37x Sedan....
I could never find a resolution either. This wasn't my first rodeo either, I had run these coilovers on my 04 G35 Sedan for years without issue and they were installed by me. I have installed these on a 350z and G37 Coupe as well, no issue. On the G37 Sedan, I installed, uninstalled many times just to make sure something wasn't missed and "preload" was correct. Even tried new shocks BC sent me. The shocks were the problem, PERIOD. Soon as I removed the BC shocks from the equation, the noise went away immediately. Car drives great with the OEM shocks and Swift coilover springs in rear, with NO noises what so ever. BC shock/swift spring combo up front that perform flawlessly. Dismantled the rear BC shocks, couldn't find any issues in the top hats. Adding padding between the top hat and chassis did nothing either. After countless hours of trying to trouble shoot, I gave up. 12-15K miles later, no issues to report with the hybrid setup. Wife's daily driver, so settings are soft up front and obviously no adjustment in rear. Guess I could be clever and install Koni shocks in the rear if I wanted to adjust dampening. Not a necessity in this case.
