Brake Caliper Powder Coating - Help deciding

I am getting ready to have my calipers powder coated on my 11 G37S Sedan. Its liquid platinum in color.

I have a set of work Gnosis cv201's on her that have spoke in a brushed aluminum and the barrel in chrome.

I originally was thinking of having the calipers painted Ferrari red with a white akebono logo.

Im having some second thoughts though and considering changing the color scheme to a charcoal/grey color with a silver metallic finish. topped with a clear coat.

Here is a link to the color i was looking at.. Prismatic Powders: PMB-5027 KINGSPORT GREY

I know its a matter of personal preference but just wanted some opinions on others taste... The red, or grey?? something else maybe..

I'm unsure on what color to make the akebono logo as well. Was considering white or light silver.

Appreciate any input.

Red if you want them to stand out.

I have a liquid platinum 09 sedan with upgraded Akebono BBK. I painted it red with white letters. Someone did it in blue with silver letter recently (cant find post). Looked really good!

Here's how it look like with red caliper on LP sedan.

Take a look at caliper color thread.

It really depends on personal preference. Red if you want the calipers to "pop," and grey if you want the subtle look. I installed 370z akebonos (which come in grey instead of silver) on my car. I ended up getting them painted in teal for some "pop." Below are some pics for reference so you can get an idea on how grey might look vs some brighter color on a Liquid Platinum.

That teal looks great on that G. I chose that midnight blue as a bit of a compromise from a color that really shouts and one that's a bit more subdued.
It's a fun choice to contemplate

I'd say go a darker gray like those off the Z for a more subtle look, but thats just my style. although, brakes are one of those tiny places that you can go wild and still keep the ride classy, just like those teal ones (which are pretty sexy BTW)

Thanks for weighing in guys. I have started to consider a deep black now with a nice clear coat so they shine a bit. Decal in white.. Thinking that might look clean

That teal looks nice

I like that color you picked out to Blnewt!

I have a few weeks yet to decide so still debating.

Thanks for providing those pics, those came out stellar! I really like the stealth quality w/ that combo. I'm still not sure if I'm going Wilwood or Akebono but I now know the color combo

I have a question about the powder coating. How long does the process take and how much would it cost to pay for them to be powder coated? I am leery of taking apart my brake system if it would be for a prolonged period of time.

The actual process is pretty quick, should be a 24 hour turnaround. If you have to ship them off though that would add about a week or more.
You also need to R/R the seals but that's no biggie.
