Custom Akebonos in "Ultraviolet"

These are going on a graphite g coupe and is one of my lastest custom jobs.

Color is a custom mix and I like to call it "ultraviolet" lettering is done in my popular brushed aluminum finish

Nice Jon! They look purple in the photos but blue in the video. Can the texture of the lettering be done with black letters but still keeping the same metallic textured look? Does that make any sense?

Love your work. Used to think painted calipers were ghetto but this is quality. On the list of mods for whenever I get my hands on a G!

It's so hard for my camera to truly capture the "color" it's very intense and is hard for the cam to pickup. The lettering CAN have metallic sparkles in it if that's what you're asking

What I mean is that the brushed aluminum texture of the lettering looks like the letters are flat pieces of, well, brushed aluminum. Can you get the same texture if the letters are black instead of silver? Not talking about the metallic sparkles, I know you can do that with the clear coat over any color. I've seen it up close and personal and it's magnificent.

You can really see the texture in the lettering that I'm talking better about in this photo.

That's a really nice finish! I'm sure you had to put a lot of prep work in to get those so nice.

Well done OP
