KW V1 or V3?

KW V1 or V3?
I'm debating between getting the KW V1 or V3 coilovers. From my knowledge the main difference is that the V3s have dampening adjustment and the V1s don't.
Do I really need the dampening adjustment? Only getting these coilovers for the drop without losing ride quality and comfort. As far as I know dampening adjustment makes it so you can adjust how stiff your coilovers are. Anybody with the V1s have comments on the stiffness?
