NEW Akebono color

Finally decided to do my Akebonos, I used the VHT burnt copper high temp paint along with their gloss. De greased and cleaned the brakes, sanded them down added about 4 coats of paint. After that dried up I added the Akebono decals and 2 coats of clear. This is how it came out

they turned out very nice my friend!!!!
how did you paint them?.... I mean, did you take them off, clean, sand, paint, etc. then bleed lines, etc. and put back together??
OR, did you leave them on, put bag over brakes, tape up good, etc. then paint while brakes still on?..... Just curious if a great job like yours good be done without taking them off...

If you do not mind me asking, how many cans did you go through to get them painted?

Great looking color, looks like you did a nice job, especially since they were left on the car.

Agreed! And it looks doubly good on a black car.
