Front Brake spooling noise/venting service issues
Can anyone tell me why my new brake setup, DBA 4000's, Hawk HPS pads and Stop Tech SS lines, with less than 1k miles, is making a spooling sound. When driving at low speeds it sounds just like tapping everytime the wheel rotates, then when braking it sound's like I'm realling in a big fish on a fishing pole with low drag, its spooling. Litterly my breaks sound like a fishing pole spooling? I just blead the break lines this weekend and the noise is still there. **** Smith Infiniti in Columbia, SC did the instal so I'm thinking I'll need to take the car back as I should not be hearing this spooling/tapping sound from the front brakes. I need to take the car back as the also charged me the same amount for the install of the rotors/pads as they did the SS brake lines $375 X's 2. IMO, I don't think the labor charges of $375 for the installation of brake lines should be the same as the instillation of new Rotors and Pads. They couldn't even complete my ITB's first saying that they dont even know what that is, then after research and physical papers explaining the process Service guy said they only have a Consult III plus cable an my ECM/TCM numbers arn't on the list, even though I can replicate the horrible shift responsiveness. They then told me they cannot install ITB 10-75 then ITB12-027 because the 10-75 requires the Consult III cable and they don't have that one. WTF, anyone else delt with this type of service? How do I fix my issues, is there a Infiniti consumer number I can call and complain to. I've owned this car since 2010 and have never had an issue with service and I've spent tons of money on the car through Infiniti.
