Sways bars worth it for DD?
#16
"My main question is are sway bars worth it for DD? would coilovers be a better option? any advice? .... thanks in advance !!!"
Without a doubt the most transformative (in terms of ride quality) modification for the money. Nothing else I have done to date has had a more significant, positive impact.
Just make sure you buy a proven brand that is adjustable.

both eibach and hotchkis use aftermarket polyurethane bushings while the stillen reuses your stock bushings. the poly bushings are stiffer and last longer but need to be greased to prevent unwanted noise. search for stillen sways and you will find some concern, but im not sure what the consensus is about the new revised version.

My first mod was Eibach sways, there are plenty of write ups on the topic but long story short, it has been on of the best mods as far as instant ride difference. I have mine set on the medium/soft setting for daily driving and it is night and day. on and off ramp clover leafs are more enjoyable.

Ive decide on hotchkis both front and rear, through my research they seemed to have the best reviews. although wont be picking up for a bit since i just bought my r2c intakes. Def before winter im gonna have em on tho.

I've mod several cars and in each case the sway bars. I think it's the single best mod for the money and performance. I will only do a couple of mods to this car. Sway bars, would like to replace the auto shifter with the M37/56 sport (if possible) and slightly darken my headlights / tails. I'm not too comfortable with the latter yet.
