Rust on disk break - What to do ?
Hey guys,
I'm living in a raining city, and i find very but very ugly the rust on my disk brake. I'm thinking of cleaning it and shooting black spay high intensity paint on it so protect from the rust.
Is this a smart idea or Is there any product or better solution to have a clean disk brake not rusty ?
Sorry for my bad English - French Canadian here
Thanks in advance

Correct i will not be painting the contact surface where's the brake pad but only around.
What surprise me is after few intense raining days i didn't take my car much and evens where the disk pad zone there's rust too. I guess if i brake few time it will go away but i really don't like that on my G
Maybe changing the plate for zinc rotors would do the work.
Thanks for the tips, if anyone have others good info im open

The rust will be there once they get wet, hit the brakes and it will be gone, there is no way around it. You can paint the non-contact pad if you want but the contact patch is always going to do that on any car.
