Hi all, I am new to the G37 community. Just sold my wife's 04' G35, and upgraded to a 2011 G37S with 15,000 miles on it. Gave her my FX35 and I am in G37 heaven!

I have noticed lots of squeaks and rattles in the center console and windshield that I have tried to get the dealer to fix but the latest squeak has stumped me. With only 15,000 miles I can't imagine the struts or bushings are bad but I've notice recently (I've only put 1,000 miles on the car since I got it) that when going over speed bumps I get a squeak or creak and I can tell its coming from both sides of the front end. Whats stumps me is it didn't do it when I first got the car but recently has started more and more. I am not sure if this is weather related, I live in Phoenix and lately its been cold in the mornings and warmer in the afternoons. I don't think this would have any effect though. Didn't have this problem with the 04' G35.

Anyone have this issue in the past or know what could be causing it? I suppose I could just take it to the dealer but thought I would ask here first. Thanks in advance for the info!

I saw that one, mine is definitely not a metallic or metal on metal but more of a squishy squeak. That is why I thought maybe a bushing or something?

 

bump...anyone else? I've now noticed its intermittent, when cold in the morning lately it hasn't done it, in the afternoon when its warmer it has. I would think it would be the other way around but not so. Very perplexed!
