Thinking of lowering my sedan

I know that threads like this have been started before but some of them are very old.....

My question is I bought a 2013 G37s sedan and I put 19" coupe wheels on it and I am considering lowering it. I have looked into a couple of different lowering springs and it looks like the Eibach "pro-kit" is just a leveling kit where the Tien springs will "slam" the car. The car is a lease so I do not want to spend a bunch of money.
1) will either of these effect the ride?
2) if i do not return the car to stock will they hold it against me upon returning it?
3) do you think lowering the car will help me get lucky with the ladies?

Hey Dirk Digler (joker)

I think lowering your car is a waste of $$ especially if it's a lease. You won't get any return on your investment.

haha most girls would prefer comfort over sport, but i agree with the two about not wasting the time and money on a lease, won't bring a lot of value..

Lease: it's not if it will bring value or not - it is the fact that you have to return to stock prior to returning the car. Plain and simple.

If you do not - I am sure they will be happy to charge you some exorbitant fee to return it to stock.

In short - if you want to do it, go for it. But keep the stock parts because you will be putting them back on before the end of lease...

Good Luck

Plenty of peeps here on the forum that lease their G's and lower them...so go for it. Lower it and enjoy the new look and feel!

Buying/Leasing a car, let alone changing the springs, is not an investment...it's an expense.

I lease and I lowered on Eibachs. Lowered the last leased G I had as well. It's a low cost mod that many like and do.

For me, it looks much nicer than stock. Key words are 'me' and 'looks'.
