The mechanic told me these wernt the right pads for my 2010 G37X Coupe...
the size seems right summit racing said there right, but the mechanic said there missing the a clip....
it sounds to me that the old clips pop off the old pads and onto the new ones?
any thoughts?

The pad you have pictured is the correct pad for an AWD G. There's a possibility that your front calipers are for the RWD version of the G, not the AWD. I had this happen to mine: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...s-on-an-x.html.

Thanks for the info mine is also a 10 so i wonder if its something weird infiniti did from the factory, looks like ill wait till summer and rip them apart myself and have a look for myself (im a gear head i just hate the "maintenance" side of it so i pay someone lol)

Looks like the opposite happened to my car. I have a 2010 RWD G37 Journey and it seems like Infiniti equipped my car with AWD front calipers instead of RWD ones. Is there a difference performance wise between the AWD and RWD calipers?

The RWD sedan base/journey has the smaller brake system.
The RWD coupe base/journey has the larger brake system.
Therefore the RWD sedan base/journey has the same brake system as the AWD version.
Also the RWD coupe base/journey has the same brake system as the convertibles.

there seem to be various pads and rotors out there they say they fit and never do. I have hawks I cant use and don't fit the sport brakes....so best I can do is take a picture of my brakes and you can see if they match yours lol
