True, but if I go that route, once I find the height/stiffness setting that I like, I most likely won't change it. I don't want a jarring ride on my long commute and since I doubt I'll ever track my car, the stiffness setting will probably be near stock ride quality. So for me, the Tanabe's sound like a good choice, but I'll look into the Powertrix also. Any comments on Tein Basics? Thanks.

I don't want springs because of possible premature wear on the stock shocks. From what I've read here, it is better to install coilovers because the springs and shocks are mated and designed to work together.

Some of us want coilovers to be able to adjust the ride height exactly the way they want. Springs can't do that.
