coilover without rear spring will it work
First of all, im a noobie, hav not even the smallest knowledge of the suspension system at all. I just want to lower my G37s, with some quality coils.
So, i had a local offer of the JICs FLT TAR coils for the g37 coupe , but in the picture he sent me, there were no springs for the rear, as well as the spring mount.
The deal was good i dont want to pass, so here are the questions:
1. What if i put the coils on with my stock rear springs, will it be ok? any prob? ride quality?
2. if not, which springs will be able to replace the rear?
again, im a total newb in this. detail answer with explains would be greatly appreciated.

If you put the JIC Magic rear struts on with your stock springs, it would not lower your car in the back. The springs are where your lowering comes from. Furthermore, the designed different and your OEM springs won't fit the JIC adjustment collars.
If you find out the length, diameter, and spring rates of the missing springs various manufacturers have springs that will fit. You could just buy a pair from JIC most likely.

so i googled and found out that JIC rate are f 12k and r 8k. i couldn't however find any info about length or diameter of the springs yet. i've heard that i can use Swift springs for the rear. anyone have experience replacing just a pair of springs?

Rear srings are super easy to replace but not sure about Swift springs matching up. You can duplicate the spring rate but it still needs to be the correct height in order for them to function properly.

The Swift spring replacement is definitely the way I would choose to go. JIC should be able to provide you with the spring length and diameter without any problem. Swift will have a spring of the same diameter, length, and stiffness to replace it. It will be better quality too. Try to call JIC or one of their authorized retailers who has someone knowledgeable on staff.
