rear strut removal question

Hi All,

Did some searches on how to remove the rear struts and not quite able to find exactly what I was loooking for. There are many great posts on how to take the fronts off and the force required to break open the one bolt, but on the rears, I see posts on spring removal but not the struts.

My question, stupid as it sounds is that is the rear being held to the car by only those 2 nuts at the top of the wheelwell? I don't need to get in from the trunk and remove the carpeting tp get to anything from the inside, correct?

Thanks for the help in advance.

The rear shocks are held in by 2 bolts at the top of the shock and 1 bolt at the bottom.

Most of the cars' rear is secured by the upper spring perch, suspension springs, and the lower spring basket along w/ control arms, but like DarkSarcasm mentioned the shock itself is only held on by those three bolts.
