Eibach sway bars-squeak

Anyone have any squeak almost clunk noise in the front with eibsch sways? Any suggestions on how to fix this? Only happens on large bumps. Also had the fast intentions rhfc installed at the same time but I don't think that is the issue. Ay suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Start by making sure nothing is loose.

Then, a good lube job goes a long way. Get some silicone grease at a marine shop.

How long the bars been in (time/mileage)?

Yea it's really just a groan/squeak over every bump. The installer said they just need to settle but I think that is bs.

Anyone know how to grease the eibach sways? Can I do it with the car on the ground? I think I need a grease gun, just not exactly sure what needs to be greased.

Also, heard a popping noise this morning after going over a speed bump. Not sure why that would happen? The only thing that changed since this noise began is the sways and the HFC.

Just spoke with the installer and he informed me that he did not grease anything because the stop mounts were used and there was no place to grease. Am I right in thinking this is the issue? Don't the bushings need to be greased? Hopefully this it. Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

The eibach installation instructions say to grease the bushings prior to install. Grease is applied to the bushings by hand (finger) BEFORE the bushing is placed around the bar. To regrease, the bushing bracket gets removed, bushing removed, grease applied and then reinstalled.

What kind of installer you using that has no idea how to properly install a sway bar [bushing]???

crap, so I can't just grease with a grease gun after the fact. This guy works on all zs and gs, guess he just didn't know.

Your installer seem,s sort of clueless. If he doesn't know that sway bar bushings require lubrication when installing them (and the instructions clearly state this), I'd be wary of his automotive knowledge and skill in general. I guess it's possible that he just never installed sways before, but basic automotive knowledge of suspension systems tells you that.

its weird because I know that they install sways all the time, guess he never had to reuse the mounting brackets. Otherwise, they do good work.

Am I able to grease the things without removing them?

To thoroughly grease the bushings of Eibach you have to remove them. Hotchkis has an integrated grease fitting so you don't have to remove anything.
