Anyone have a fix for the clunking noise from the rear BC coil overs?

Installed myself. I'll try the nut on top of the shock. It seems like it comes from the spring tho, if I grab the spring and push n pull on it there is a slight bit of movement.

I have bc coils and no clunking. You sure they are seated and bolted down properly?

If you can move the spring then you definitely don't have it preloaded correctly.

i didnt really understand the directions for preloading the spring.

Do you (anyone) know the proper way to preload?

If I remember right, I unbolt the shock and the lower arm and let everything hang loose, and then slowly jack up the lower arm until the rear spring is seated, and then jack it up 10mm more, set the lenght of the shock and then tighten down all the bolts. IS this correct?
