Sway bar question

hey, so i just purchased myslef a 2009 g37xs, i know that the sport adds the stiffer suspension, so the question i have is would it still be worth it to add a sway bar, all responses are appreciated, thanks

It is still worth it IMO. If you reach out to Hotchkis specifically, they'll give you the rates of how much more stiff their bars are than stock. It's all up to you though.

If i remember correctly, the xS just adds the sport APPEARANCE, so its just the body kit, sport rims, paddle shifters, sport seats. it still has the regular g37x suspension.

I have an S.

Said this before...

Aftermarket sways, whether hotchkis, whiteline, or eibach, is the BEST mod for noticible results vs money spent.

You will not do a mod that is as inexpensive as sways that you will feel more.

S package on X only adds the appearance mods. The suspension is the normal non-S suspension. If you want to stiffen up the ride and improve the handling dramatically, get beefier sway bars.

Agreed. Whiteline will GENERALLY be the pricier option of the bunch but not by much. Quality and performance wise, that's really a subjective question. I personally have whitelines on my car (never tried hotchkis or eibach sways/anti-rollkits)- only because it was recommended by a widely respected local autoshop. If you're also willing to add a front strut bar from GT Spec or Cusco, you'll get even better results. All for under $700. Sway bars from any of these respected brands will make a dramatic difference to the car's turn-in handling, especially with the G37x. I will caution that the ride quality will also become significantly bumpier.

Not so much that your ride can't be a DD. I've been running them for around 9 months now. If your roads are not good, the bumpiness may get to you. All you can do is try them.

YES! Do it and stop asking questions. They are the BEST Bang for the Buck mod you can do, easy to install too.

Eibach doesn't have sway bars for the g37x, correct? So that would make the next best/cheapest option so be the Hotchkis?

Eibach makes them for the X Coupe, but not the X Sedan
