Upgraded Endlinks for Sway Bars?

I've read that some people here have changed the OEM endlinks and put on upgraded/ heavy duty endlinks with their sway bars.

Does it really make a difference? What are some of the pros and cons of doing this?

I am putting on my hotchkis sway bars this weekend and not sure if I should purchase new endlinks.

Thanks!

not sure about the G, but on my WRX if you upgrade the sways, you need to get aftermarket end links.... the OEM ones aren't tough enough and tend to break....

Austin713, does "ours" include 2009 G37X?

I've been lowered with sways for about a year and my endlinks are fine. I think it was Modme who had some homemade endlinks or you can pay out the a$$ for the Whitelines.

lolwut? don't need them if you're only concerned about them breaking i guess...
it it has alot of other properties that make them a good upgrade to go with aftermarket swaybars. A major one is to get rid of the preload. once you put on aftermarket sways you'll notice that the oem endlinks will already be turned in a certain direction, this bias inhibits it's full range of motion and will not allow you to fully utilize your swaybars. the adjustability allows for the installer to correct that; you can sit in the car to have them factor out your weight too. assuming you care about the handling (reason why you purchased the sway bars in the first place) endlinks deserve the same recognition.
also, i had no idea they changed the oem endlinks at all... if that's true i guess you dont have worry about them breaking but they are, for sure, not adjustable. i dont see why infiniti/nissan would make any changes as all considering, there have not been any endlink failures when pair with oem swaysat least to my knowledge). there have been endlink failures with aftermarket sways though.

07-12 have different end links than 03-06. The entire chassis and suspension is different hence the difference in end links as well.

The end links in the 05-06 G35 are the same as the end links in the G37. Earlier years had an older type end link that has been revised. Either way, there has been many failures of end links in both G37s and G35s.

The advantage of adjustable end links are beyond failure prevention just like jujubii said. This is especially important when you have aftermarket sways and lowered suspension height.

Who makes front end links for a 2009 G37X? Can't seem to find any. Whiteline only makes rear.
