How can i get my Eibachs to sit slightly lower?

I have the eibach pro-kit springs on my car. I thought it was the perfect height when i had 18" rims, but now that i put 20" rims on it looks a LITTLE too high in the front and back. Is there anything i can do to get the front and back to sit a little lower...other than buying new springs of course. I don't want to ghetto rig the suspension and have it ride like shlt, nor am I looking to slam my car...when I say lower it a little, I mean a little lom

I've heard of guys trimming the rear bump stop...is that safe and will it give me what I'm looking for? If so, how much should I cut off and is it difficult to do?

What about for the front? Our cars don't have bumpstops up front right?

Thanks in advance fellas

How long have the springs been on the car? If not very long, you can pray they'll settle more.

I think u already know this:
Cut them or heat them.
Both will negatively affect.

Ahhh ok...I guess I'll leave it alone then. Maybe I'll do coilovers later on.

Yea def don't want to do anything that's gonna negatively affect the ride quality.

Dr.Pat.

What size tires are you using? Is there any fender gap visible?

Why not put on a lip kit or a body kit? It'll make your car appear lower than it is. I have Eibach +20's too with the Autokits lip and a sideskirt on the way. I wish I could go lower with coils but I don't want to be a nervous wreck when I drive my car everyday.

could be his tires, mine's a little meaty.

Wheels are 9.5x20 and 10.5x20

Tires are 255/35 and 285/30.....virtually no fender gap.

The simple answer is no. With springs the ride height is what it is. To get it any lower will require different springs or coilovers.

Add some heavy amps, subwoofer in the trunk. Should give you some nice bass as well as a lower rear. For the front, FI setup maybe?

Cheaper route is to switch to coils

The rims are 20x8.5 and 20x10 wrapped in 245/35/20 and 275/30/20

I think its because my wheels sit slightly more tucked than yours, so it gives the appearance that the fender gap is bigger than it actually is. Like I said, when I had 18" wheels the height was prefect, but I also had 20mm spacers all around. The offset of the new wheels is 30 up front and 42 in the back...so the new wheels sit just about where the stock 18s did with spacers, but the tires on the 18s had a lot thicker side wall as well.

I'll put up pics tomorrow of the new setup

yeah, my wheels and tires are pretty flushed. Maybe you can use the spacers you had with the 18's?

Next you should consider is a body kit/lip kit.
