I am wrong. The picture shown is probably the Sport 6MT. Somehow I always thought 6MT is available in coupe only.

I like the sports package because I test drove the non-sports side by side and I actually liked the sports seat better.

We're a rare breed... Sedan 6MT owners. Not a common car. Everything you want out of a the fully optioned Sport Coupe, but with 4 doors and less weight. (Yes, less weight.)

Stealth, baby. Stealth.

I bought the "S" package because I liked the front end, sports seats, 18" wheels/tires (I actually like them fine) and paddle shifters better than the standard items. Plus, the sports package costs very little on the x models.

Ditto! "S" is just icing on the cake for the sedan.

Where did you buy the kit from? Where did you have them installed? Any rust issue on the rotor?

couple of myg37.com vendors sell these akebono kit.
you can get zinc coated stoptech rotors to prevent rusting or you can paint them yourself as well with high temp ones.
I have AWD sedan with akebono bbk.

I have the bbk on my 2012 sedan sport rear-wheel. The wheels are different on the xs also. They are not staggered.

simonsez, nice wheels. I have been following your threads. I though you have vossen VVSCV2 wheels?

You mention there is less than 10mm of clearing space between your stock 18' wheel and the BBK, any issue so far?

If one were to assume from this that you're doing both, isn't stopping with better control vastly more cool than how your wheels look?

I am going after the looks of the calipers when I have them painted red. I don't race so I am not after braking power. One thing make it more difficult to pull the trigger on BBK is I still haven't had confirm on whether or not it will clear the stock 18' rims

Not to be argumentative about your automotive values, that's personal. And by your own admission, you're priority with the brakes is on appearance. That's fine, I suppose.

But the oft-repeated phrase, "I don't race, so blah blah blah doesn't matter" is complete and total BS. If you actually put a BBK on your G, you will love the way it brakes, regardless how you drive.

So you've got that to look forward to.
