Front camber arms: Kinetix-type vs SPC-type
I'm going to need some camber kits when I lower my car, and I'm doing some research on front setups. I did search for this topic but couldn't find anything specific to my question, which is...
Are the SPC/Eibach type camber arms superior or inferior to the Kinetix threaded bolt-type arm, in terms of ease of adjustment and longevity of the setting? I ask because I can see how the Kinetix type would hold its setting without any possibility of sliding, while the SPC sliding clamp could in theory lose its setting over time (or after a sizeable bump).
That said, my concern about the thread style is that the adjustment difference between one full turn of the threaded bolt may exceed the ideal adjustment range window for camber. This could be alleviated with a fine enough thread, but there are diminshing returns there in the way of strength.
Does anyone who has the kinetix arm have input on this?
Thanks

I bought the Kinetix suspension parts. After taking them out of the box and inspecting them, I returned them immediately. I'd never put them on my car. To me they looked and felt extremely flimsy; not of substantial construction at all. Also the company left a bad taste in my mouth by charging me a 20% restocking fee on brand new parts still in the box (I didn't even open them all after seeing the first piece of junk.) This is strictly my opinion based on looking at them and touching them, I never installed them on my car.
I have SPC/Eibach I feel that they are much more durable, heavy duty parts. I have had them on my car for several years with no issues whatsoever and I can recommend them without reservation. I haven't had any issues with the SPC parts coming out of adjustment even with some very rough roads encountered.
My .02. Good luck.
