Caliper covers and plastidip, what's next? Anyway I didn't even know there were such a thing as caliper covers until about a week back. All I could think was "are you serious?"

There a time and place for Plastidip, so that to me is ok. Faking a BBK though is just plain wrong.

Covers, but only if you also put disc brake rotor covers to go with it.

Seriously, paint or powdercoat is really the only way to go.

Then you'll need to get a car cover so no one will have to
see the mockery Either that or just go 100% all the way and get that super-duper aluminum f-14 fighter wing on the trunk deck

They painted it on the car with the high intensity paint. It turned out better than I thought.

Real BBK's? Such as the Akebono 4 piston calipers on the Sport model G37?

Here's pics of my painted calipers w/ Infiniti logo

Newt, I've used these pics before to show someone results when properly painting calipers. Love the little Infiniti logo... nice touch. The non-sport rotors are kind of tiny, but so what. What you did with your brakes and these rims looks great. Good job.

Plastic covers are embarrassing. As an alternative, MGP makes a decent set of aluminum covers, but they're very expensive. They look good enough on some domestic cars, but not nearly as good as the OEM Akebono BBK on the RWD Sport Package.
