Need advice on suspension/handling for 2012 G37xs

I just turned in my 2008 G35XS and leased a new 2012 G37XS this past Saturday (I also leased a 2005 G35S). I didn't take the new car for much of a spin because it's almost identical to the '08. But I drove it over the weekend and it feels noticeably softer, almost kind of floaty, and I feel like I have to turn the steering wheel more. So I need some help. I loved my '05 G35 because it had a sport suspension and it handled really well in the corners, but the snow in MN makes me feel like I need AWD. I'm not sure why Infiniti doesn't offer the sport suspension and bigger brakes on the AWD sedan. Anyway, I'm leasing the car and I don't want to throw a ton of money into it. So what can I do to make the car a little more response and have tighter handling? What's the best bang for the buck? I did some searching and maybe sway bars are the way to go. Can anyone give me some recommendations and rough prices? I'm assuming whatever I add to the car now I will have to remove when I turn the car in.

Thanks for the help!

Sways are your cheapest option..... and easy to pull back out and sell at lease end

Definitely a worth while mod. I'm a huge fan of serious cornering and stability so the aftermarket sway bars really completed the car for me. HUGE IMPROVEMENT.

Another post that makes me think Infiniti screwed up something on its 2010+ g37x vehicles. I had a 2009 g37x that seemed to handle almost telepathically. My 2010 is the opposite.

To date I have:
Installed and uninstalled bc coils
Installed hotchkis sways
Installed pilot super sport tires
Installed gt spec strut brace

The sways help a bit but I would rather have my 2009 without upgraded sways than my 2010 with all of the upgrades I have tried. When taking long sweeping corners it still feels floaty and unstable. I think I have had four alignments but it does feel a bit like an alignment issue still. I am looking at getting rid of the g and its disappointments because I can't seem to fix the problem. The new Lexus gs 350 seems nice and from the reviews it seems to handle pretty well.

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the Hotchkis sways are the way to go. Will it make the suspension feel stiffer? I'm a little disappointed in how soft it feels but maybe the sways will make it "feel" stiffer. I was quoted $200 to have them installed but that seems a little high.

The sways will get rid of over/under steer. They will make the car feel more in control, but will not make the suspension feel stiff. If you want that stiff suspension feeling, you're gonna need to install springs with koni shocks OR coilovers. I have Tanabe coils, hotchkiss sways, custom end links, and michelin PSS installed on my G, and the thing corners like its a go-kart on rails without being overly stiff and bouncy...and certainly doesn't feel like its floating.

Is it possible just to get the coils, or do I need new shocks as well? What kind of $$ would I have to throw down?

coils are an all in one thing. if you wanted to go springs, then you could potentially get the koni's.

$$$ they range from $500 on up usually. ya get what ya pay for.

They don't make them for the 'X' unfortunately.
