Has anyone used ultra racing strut bar?

Has anyone used this struct bar? How is it compare to GTSPEC?

Doesn't look too good, probably just the all white color though.

bars too thin to a performance difference, all show no go.

fixed that for ya. Would imagine they work and make a noticible difference on Hondas, toyotas, and subarus.

Look into the Cusco strut bar! I just picked one up and it looks great under the hood. Plus it seems more functional compared to the GTspec that I used to have. The bar is much more beefy and higher in quality.

Wait, you had a GTspec bar, but replaced it with the Cusco? Really?

Found a pic. It's OK looking, kind of flat, though. You say it's actually stronger, with better quality and more functional... How so? Based on what?

$170 at this site here: http://www.modbargains.com/Cusco-Str...issan-350Z.htm

by personal use.

I have the GTSpec and it looks shiny and cool (even though it rubs in the hood liner) and there was no discernible difference in handling or flex in the front. IMHO the best handling upgrade you can make aside from quality coilovers is upgraded sway bars.

The GTSpec rubs? I didn't know that. Hmm. I was looking at the GTSpec FSTB as something the wifey could get me for xmas. I need to read up on this Cusco bar... until I saw this thread, I didn't know there was an option other than GTSpec.

Your point about handling is fair. For most cars, the FSTB is just engine bling, with minimal impact on handling characteristics. Even then, it's only when turning hard out of the hole, and you need to be pretty attuned to how your car handles in order to recognize the differences.

It's adjustable but I didn't spend enough time getting it just right. I would rather have it rub the hood liner than the engine cover. Maybe your wife can combine Father's Day and Christmas and get you sway bars instead.

Who ever says that front bar doesnt improve the ride is simply driving like my grandma..

Seriously how can you figure that out?? I have it and i would never sell it for any reason..

GTspec and Cusco give same effect... its just a brand name.. one is fat and one is thicker.. you choose
