I had a set of regular Hipermax 3, and guess what? I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT. Honestly, I thought the ride quality was total ****.
Other more economical option for coilover you can go with BC Racing ER (NOT BR).
Please elaborate. I have the Hipermax III's. The springs are soft, relative to other aftermarket CO kits. Not sure how they are compared to sport stock. They are good enough for me. What sold me was the rear dampening adjustment - it can be done without disassembly.
I can dial up/down the dampening to adjust compression/rebound and can feel it too in the bounciness of my ride. Good enough for me and JDM to boot. This is the only CO set I've had so,...take it FWIW.
Haven't seen one bad review of the KWv3 so you will be happy fasho, but I couldn't get over the colors (purple/yellow), rear adjustment requires disassembly, plus you have to reuse parts from strut assembly. Just my $0.02.
