Mine are painted (Duplicolor High Temp) as well. They hold up just fine, even with track, but the clear on mine has become dull, initially from brake fluid falling on them for a little while and from washes. There are also a couple small chips -- including a chunk of aluminum, so it must've been a pretty good hit.

Just finished touching up and polishing the front this past weekend and it looks good as new. Will be doing the rears soon.

you're fine with automotive paint! Just don't strip off the old paint, that actually acts as a barrier and protectant from heat. Here's a few I did.....................

This option is for those who don't want to remove the calipers and bleed the brakes and everything else associated with the PITA removal. Just another option.

You are perfectly fine painting it if you follow the same procedures as you would when painting a panel on the vehicle. Automotive paint holds up to heat and brake dust all the time. Just use quality clear and you'll be just dandy

if you want to keep the infiniti use a translucent paint... to my knowledge I'm the only one with painted calipers that has the stock infiniti letters showing...

Do you have an extra set? I like to take my time with 'em, as you know.
