Brakes

Just wondering if any of you have experienced issues with brake shudder on 08 S coupe's.

I had my rotors replaced under warranty as I believed they were warped as I experienced all the tell tale signs...

After they were replaced I still had play in the wheel when braking just as with the old rotors. When I took the car back to the dealership they said the rotors were perfectly round and couldn't find anything wrong and blamed it on my feathered tires. I eventually replaced my tires and the shudder is still there just as it was with the old tires.

Not really sure what to do as they claim not to find anything wrong...

Had the same thing, solved it by changing the pads not the rotors. Hope this helps

Dont get garbage oem brake components.... from my experience with Nissan/Infiniti I have grown to learn that their brake pads and rotors are complete GARBAGE.

Just throwing it out there, is it possible for a tie rod to be bent or something else in the steering/suspension system to be broken?

I have had this problem many many times with my G and had this TSB twice by the dealer and still the squeaks came back, so I got sick of tired of going to the stealership and replaced my brakes and rotors. Now they are smooth as they can be, haven't had a problem since.

Nissan's are known to have very soft OEM compounds on their pads, which transfer and deposit an uneven amount to the rotors.

This is why most folks experience a vibration.

This all depends on what rotors you want. I got the EBC gold rotors, along with hawk pads.

The work order number would be all different.
