I've driven lowered cars through many winters and many inches of snow. If you have a moderate drop, it will not be any worse than stock height. If you want to slam it, it's probably a good idea to raise it up so you have some clearance.

I managed it with a set of normal spring compressors from Harbor Freight. Cost me $14.99. It's tough to get them on, but they do work.

Unless you're using a lift and have a hydraulic spring compressor, it's sure to take longer than an hour. Took me about 2-3 in my driveway.

Hehe, maybe like An hour and 10 mins if you including lifting the car and taking off rims ... But doing the springs them self, super easy

I was under the impression you don't need a camber kit with the Eibach's? Can somebody chime in here. I'm far from being a suspension expert, but am considering buying these springs if the ride quality isn't that much different than stock, and if additional parts don't need to be purchased....what exactly would I need to beyond just th springs. Camber, spacers, etc? Appreciate the info..

Man it took me over 4 hours to do mine on my own. the Normal Spring compressor didn't work and I had a hard time with it.

It took me and my brother in law 8.5 hours to do ours with air tools. Find a shop that can compress the springs FIRST and its a breeze. The Orielly auto parts compressor would not fit in the springs. I took them to firestone auto shop and after an hour they said they couldn't compress them with their machine either. Unfortunately this was on the Sunday before MLK day so everyone was close. So my brother and I rigged the spring compressors in a way I wont repeat to get them done.

Eibach drop is great. Eliminates the gap, and I'm still comfortable letting my wife drive the car.

I heard some complaints about the back, but I just kept the stock springs 4 jack stands and my floor jack in the trunk and it settled faster and lower.
