How low can you go?
So the first actual mod I was thinking of doing was gettin lowering springs for my 2010 G37x. I found Eibach's that fit with my car and I wanted to get like a 1.5 drop. But is that too low for my car to go to car washes with the track? I don't want to mess up my ride
EDIT: Or do I just suck it up and go to a hand car wash place?

A car wash place that washes by hand would probably be just as bad as going to a regular car wash, unless they use two bucket method, good/clean wash medium, good/clean microfiber towels, etc. This usually takes more time and time=money, so the majority of commercial hand wash facilities are a no go IMO.

OP, just get your car lowered and take the car to the car wash and try a dry run, just drive up to the track rails and see if it clears prior to paying for a wash, unless it's one that doesn't have access to the track until it's running.
Never use an auto wash that has anything other than liquid touching your car, those swirling brushes will devastate your paint. And if you use a touchless wash just get the bare-bones basic wash, those extra "clear coats", waxes, & other stuff cause more harm than good IME.

Most of those "beside the road hand wash places" are horrible. They don't clean their stuff very well or at all. Wash it yourself, then you know it will be done right.
