Swift Springs 08+ X Sedan
#123
Finally got mine installed and I must say the ride is very acceptable although it gives you a good jarring when you hit some nasty road imperfections. It probably also has to do with my low profile tires. I went with swift due to the fact that they're linear but now, I'm wondering if I would have been better off with the progressive Eibachs since it's initial rates are much lower.

I've read a couple people went from eibach's to these and they preferred the swift springs. That being said I have no experience with the eibach's but have the swift's installed on my car and they are great.

I just did this install on my X and it is a very easy job for those of you considering a DIY. The ride is definitely different.....I need to play a little before I form an overall opinion on the ride. The look is awesome and just that 1" - 1.3" drop changes the looks dramatically. No pics because there are enough of those already.....just another black G37x on Swifts!! I will post pics after the new wheels arrive.
I will be getting an alignment or at least an alignment check to see if I need camber kits. I want everything within spec. Also, Swift springs do not settle but Swift recommends waiting a week before getting an alignment to give the rubber top hat time to mold to the new spring.
Just my $0.02,
RJ

technically any spring designed for the G37 sedan or coupe will fit the sedan or coupe. whether or not the spring rates are proportional to the weight difference between rwd and awd and coupe and sedan is a different story. The ride will be softer or harder depending on the setup. For example, I have an AWD but i am using oem RWD springs because they are about .5in shorter.
