Mike, do you know if these will work on the 2012?

Also, with lowering springs, will the car rub if I have 4 passengers travelling with me?

I'm sure the guys at FB Parts (where I bought mine) could answer if it's compatible with 2012 models.
Any bouncing off of the bumpstops? Or are the roads by you in good shape so you wouldn't even notice?

[QUOTE=scotty_g;3361833]Gimp I have the same plan. Not positive on the supersports but I really want to! Why are they so much!! Where did you get your tires?

I've bought all my tires for years from Tire Rack and have yet to be disappointed. The Mich. Super Sport tires are a little cheaper then the other Michelin top tires actually, but without a doubt they are quite pricy.

This thread is extremely helpful. mcbaes72 do you have access to a tape measure so you can measure the fender to ground clearance? I am interested in knowing the measurement on the 2010+ X sedan.

I bought my springs from FB Parts, I recommend getting a price quote from them before buying elsewhere (see link below).

Jomer was the one who sold me my sways and STB. They are indeed great to work with. Being on the EAST Coast, he gets my stuff delivered in 2 days tops!

I really don't. For some reason on the 2010+ X sedan they sag really really bad in the rear and the front gap is pretty huge. More than 2 fingers. I want the front to be around 26.5" and I'm wondering if the coupe H&R springs would accomplish that. I like the look of the H&Rs but no one has measured them.

Thanks for the info. Thats exactly the same as my eibachs. My fronts ars 27". i really wanna try fhe H&Rs. The sprint and eibachs arent low enough for me.

Bought these springs about three weeks ago, was torture waiting for my tax refund to pay for install. But finally, my BIL @ Revolution (Vallejo, CA) installed Swift Sport lowering springs and the drop is about 1.3" Front / 1.0" Rear for the X sedan. Immediately, the car feels more planted to the road, definitely more sporty handling in turns and lane changes. May need to upgrade sway bars, but I'm in desperate need of new tires. Hopefully, I can upgrade to 18s (maybe with 245/45s all around), then do alignment afterwards, springs should be settled by that time.

Anyway, loving this drop already, but gotta approach steep driveways and speed bumps slowly and at an angle just to be safe. Still, the drop isn't too aggressive, as you can see in the before/after pics below, there's about a two-finger gap (forgot to use a tape measure). BTW, all pics are from my Moto Atrix phone, they turned out okay.

The "two-finger" measuring method...haha.

EDIT: Also, I didn't have a soda can for scale reference, so I used my favorite drinking mug to show ground clearance. Got a PM inquiry, hope these additional pics are helpful.

Ground clearance, driver's side view.

Front view.

Rear view.

EDIT #2: Per request, I'm finally adding pics with tape measurement since it stopped raining.

Ride height, 27" front.

Ride height, 27 1/8" rear.

Im new to the Modding scene,After installing these springs is there anything else I would need to get for the suspension? I read that additional parts are needed when lowering a car regarding camber, Thanks

after seeing the fender-to-ground measurements I decided to go with H&R instead. My fender-to-ground on my eibach 6399.140 is 27" in the front even though the rear sags badly. I think the H&Rs will put me a little higher than 26" which is where I want to be.

How long can you wait before aligning the car after installing the springs/camber? Especially if putting on bigger wheels?

By then, we'll see if it's needed or not, I may just rotate tires often and avoid camber kits since I'm getting the same size all around.

Thanks, Please post the results once you get everything done

swift springs are preloaded and will not "settle." you can get an alignment as soon as you want.
