Swift Springs 08+ X Sedan

[QUOTE=scotty_g;3361833]Gimp I have the same plan. Not positive on the supersports but I really want to! Why are they so much!! Where did you get your tires?

I've bought all my tires for years from Tire Rack and have yet to be disappointed. The Mich. Super Sport tires are a little cheaper then the other Michelin top tires actually, but without a doubt they are quite pricy.

Thank you!
I see you already have the sway bars, these springs would only improve handling and compliment the overall ride even more. Sway bars are next on my list aftehas r upgrading wheels/tires. I bought my springs from FB Parts, I recommend getting a price quote from them before buying elsewhere (see link below).

I really don't. For some reason on the 2010+ X sedan they sag really really bad in the rear and the front gap is pretty huge. More than 2 fingers. I want the front to be around 26.5" and I'm wondering if the coupe H&R springs would accomplish that. I like the look of the H&Rs but no one has measured them.

(Posted in Suspension forum, deserves to be here in the X Sedan thread, too.)

Bought these springs about three weeks ago, was torture waiting for my tax refund to pay for install. But finally, my BIL @ Revolution (Vallejo, CA) installed Swift Sport lowering springs and the drop is about 1.3" Front / 1.0" Rear for the X sedan. Immediately, the car feels more planted to the road, definitely more sporty handling in turns and lane changes. May need to upgrade sway bars, but I'm in desperate need of new tires. Hopefully, I can upgrade to 18s (maybe with 245/45s all around), then do alignment afterwards, springs should be settled by that time.
Anyway, loving this drop already, but gotta approach steep driveways and speed bumps slowly and at an angle just to be safe. Still, the drop isn't too aggressive, as you can see in the before/after pics below, there's about a two-finger gap (forgot to use a tape measure). BTW, all pics are from my Moto Atrix phone, they turned out okay.

The "two-finger" measuring method...haha.
EDIT: Also, I didn't have a soda can for scale reference, so I used my favorite drinking mug to show ground clearance. Got a PM inquiry, hope these additional pics are helpful.
Ground clearance, driver's side view.

Rear view.
EDIT #2: Per request, I'm finally adding pics with tape measurement since it stopped raining.
Ride height, 27" front.
Ride height, 27 1/8" rear.

Im new to the Modding scene,After installing these springs is there anything else I would need to get for the suspension? I read that additional parts are needed when lowering a car regarding camber, Thanks

Some have gotten camber kits for rear or for both front/rear. Also, supposedly there's no settle time needed and can be aligned right away. I haven't done so yet because I'm waiting for new wheels/tires first before doing alignment. By then, we'll see if it's needed or not, I may just rotate tires often and avoid camber kits since I'm getting the same size all around.
Thanks, Please post the results once you get everything done
