Swift Springs 08+ X Sedan
#152
these seem like the best springs to go with!!!!! but my question to you guys is, if i needed one i can just buy the SPC camber kit(2 bolts @ 24.84$) and that would fix the camber/toe problem if any were to show up??? im just a little confused as to why the eibach kits and stillen kits are so expensive.
thank you guys in advance!!!

Looks awesome. Really clean.
How is the clearance. Do you scrape over bumps in lots or hill transitions?

Thanks!
Clearance is fine...unless we get another blizzard like we did this past winter!
Really, as well as the streets are plowed and cleared then there isn't any issue with the Swift's clearance.
I have not scraped or bottom out anywhere...even going over speed bumps aren't a problem.
Just go for it!

I did not bother with camber kits, since they were not off by much...toe is within spec.
If you are really concern about having everything within spec, then consider camber/toe kits.

does anyone have a DIY to install springs on a sedan? I'm sure its the same process as my 08 honda seeing that is has the same set up (rear springs separate from shock, and front front strut held by 3 bots at top and two or one bolt by the axle.)

I usually go over speed bumps at an angle if possible, but that has nothing to do with the clearance height.
You just need to be more cautious & aware of the road...the dips and bumps are enhanced. On even flat roads, it is smooth like or better than stock.
The increase handling performance is well worth it.
Maybe consider upgrading your sway bars too...another great suspension mod.

I'm in the Boston area and I have no issues what so ever regarding ground clearance.
I usually go over speed bumps at an angle if possible, but that has nothing to do with the clearance height.

Is there a DIY Spring install for a G37x Sedan?? I just got Swift springs on wednesday and would like to install them myself. I have a very good idea on how to install them but would like a DIY to just double check and assure i am doing everything right. Thanks in advance.

This is for a RWD, the x has different lower strut bolt mounts but it's a similar install. By all means don't even consider using harbor freight spring compressors, those things could put your life in danger. Use the loaner compressors from Auto Zone or O'Reillys, bring them back in 24 hours and your deposit is fully refunded, just grease the crap out of the compressor bolt threads and use an air impact wrench to compress the springs.
