Just went in for an oil change at 25xx miles this morning and the dealer wrote 11/32 mm front, 9/32 mm rear on brake pads after inspection.

I am just curious.. how long these OEM pads last?

 

I think your dealer is confused.... 11/32mm isn't a whole lot of pad, neither is 9/32mm. You'd be grinding rotors.

They probably meant 11/32 inches... About a third of an inch of pad, per pad. 25K ( you did mean thousand?) miles is fair. If you're in stop and go traffic daily or use the brakes aggressively, they'll wear out faster.

Search the forums, pads are not difficult to do.

 

Oh my bad.. I re-looked their paper and it says 11 mm front, 9 mm rear. So per pad, it should last btn 20-25k depends on the driving condition?

It was my 1st oil change and I did it at 2500 miles.
