I was thinking about getting Eibach front and rear sway bars for my G and I have been calling around some performance shops around Phoenix, AZ for a price on installing them. The lowest I could find was $150 for everything. Is that a reasonable price? Should I have performance shops install them, or are tire stores okay? I want it done right. $150 seems a little high...
How much did you guys get your sways installed for? Thanks
I did it at a wheel and tire install shop, mainly they do my mount and balance but they also do alignments. It's really a easy install any shop can do it it's not a difficult install.
yeah I didnt think it would be over $100. I called several tire shops and they are estimating 2-3 hours installation labor which totals up to over $200!!!
Too expensive man. If I had a lift I would do it in less then 30 minutes. Even w ramps we did it on several cars for free lol st friends house w beers !
That's what I did! There is a helpful DIY man just get all tools needed install them return the tools for a free install lol. We reversed car on ramps and finished rear then did front. I did the same installing my y pipe mid pipe and mufflers .
All you really need is 4 jack stands and a creeper. The rest is just basic unbolting/bolting. Note, I'd use some blue locktite on the endlink/bar bolts.

hmmm that would be difficult/PITA to get out if he ever wants to change sway bars/ go back to stock. Besides, factory did not come with loctite. Just torque the nuts back to spec.
Shops charge you alot to even do very little things; unless you go to a crappy shop that is desperate for work, or you know the guy/owner. Better to just do it yourself
