Hipermax III's
20x9.5 +35
245/35

Streets are generally ok but there are potholes, abrupt transitions, etc out here in San Diego.

I know a potential solution is to stiffen the dampers. But if I have to stiffen to a point where I feel every ridge in the road then I don't think this SPC kit is a good solution. We as G37 owners need another company to step forward and create a solution that doesn't have these issues. Remember, this arm wasn't specifically designed for the G37, it was substituted cause the original design was flawed (with same issue) to a greater degree.

Here is a pic of the front.

^Yes I have the G35 arm. I wouldn't call it a revision, it's a substitute for their original flawed design.

The G35 arm (used on G37) has same issues if you are low.

I understand the flexibility offered by the caster adjustment, but who set caster for something other than 0 with this part?

Leaning on taking these off...

We need another front camber solution!!!

Does this part provide caster in addition to stock? If it's the only source of caster, then it's advisable to have some. Otherwise the car will be twitchy and wander.

I'd rather have tire wear than metal-to-metal contact. Additionally, I don't think it's good to max out your damper for the sake of not hitting. These are just my opinions though.

I'm hoping my camber will not be too far negative with stock arms. I've seen pics of lower G37's with stock arms. Based on the pics camber doesn't look excessive. I think RDDLINE is lower than me without any camber kits (I could be wrong, but that is what I got out of his threads) and camber seems ok (visually) on his ride.

This part can add/subtract caster to/from whatever the stock suspension geometry offers.

Before I had the SPC i was lowered on H&R's n the front camber was very noticeable you will eat your tires within a few months..

What do you think?
It might also depend on what u are lowered on... Im lowered on Tein Flex... lowering the car does not affect the damping on the Flex since it has independent height adjustment...

Think you would be ok with your arms if you raise to 26.25... guaranteed not to hit if even a bit higher...

What are you dropped on? did you do corner balancing??? if not, you would most likely hit... corner balancing help the car sit proper...

Picture this... its like doing push ups... if you lower and dont corner balance, the car wont sit properly... its like trying to do push ups with one arm... suspension not gonna perform how it should... corner balancing helps in the sense that all the weight is evenly distributed like doing push up with both arms... hope that clears it up a bit...

I feel you man, it really sucks... i didnt enjoy riding and driving th IP the way i liked too when it was hitting... specially after dropping cash for front and rears...

dont make your damper too stiff... the stiffer you make the less life your shock will have (ull break the seal)

Raise it up a bit more... function is better then form... and ull save tire life while your at it...
