From your personal experiences which one of if any coilovers about the same price or around that price that has the softest ride.
I can budge a little on the price up or down.
Btw I appreciate all of the comments

I am sort of in the same situation looking to lower my car. My 08 G37S Coupe 5AT is my DD but I would still like to track the car 4/5 times per year. Yes, it is an automatic and while Id prefer to have manual for the track this will have to do for the time being. In the future I will have a dedicated stick shift track car but for now its the AT. Any input on good coilovers to accomplish the following:

1. daily driving
2. track time 4/5 per year
3. lower the stance of the car to look more aggressive.
4. Price--no more than 2200

I am agreeing with this. I got around 3,000km out of my BCs before they started to make noise (front and back). Unfortunately, the tech support guy I keep getting seems to have the customer service skills of a rock so I am thinking of just taking the kit off and going back to stock. They also misrepresented the height I could get from the kit as well. I wanted a very small drop as I was just more interested in firming up the ride rather than riding in the weeds but the most conservative drop on with an AWD kit is around 1.6+"

At this point, I would NOT recommend BC coils.

i don't want anything fancy. i just want to lower the car about inch and a half front and rear. i don't want a bouncy ride and expecting something as soft as stock or softer. i not planning on tracking whatsoever. something with awesome damping.

if anyone has any recommendations, plz suggest me one as i will be buying one in the next week.

so far i've kept my eyes on BC racing coils, Megan and Ksports but i have no idea about coils. which is good or which is bad.

thanks in advance guys.

I've heard good feedback about the BC's. K-Sport makes good products from what I've seen but I haven't heard any feedback about those installed on a G. I have not heard positive feedback about Megan Racing though.

I know they are out of your price range, but I couldnt be happier with my KW v3's. If I were you, I would try to find a good used set. I think some guy was selling his like 2 months ago for 1250. They moved fast but if you stay on top of it you can find a great deal

I'm in somewhat the same position as you. I put about 18-20k miles on the car and hit the track 2-3x a year. The car is minimally dropped. I've been on BC BR's for the past 25k miles or so. So far, so good.

for my budget. i think im gonna go with E Pro Kit...because I will likely be getting a dedicated track car with all the bells and whistles. im able to get some seat time with dads gtr....so it kinda takes the cake for track time. gonna go with E Pro Kit plus Hotchkis sway bars and engine strut for now.

Get Tein Flex. Then get corner balanced. Youll be surprised how the G will feel and handle like!!! Simply AMAZING!!!
