Infamous rust circle on StopTech brakes?
Been reading around and saw that StopTech rotors seem to form a rust ring for whatever reason:

Does anyone know if Rotoras have the same rust ring issue?
I understand that its gonna rust regardless but I just don't wanna see that ring around my rotors that dont exist on OEM rotors.

most brands will have this unless you've nickleplated them. What I done in the past is have them nickleplated then mask off the rotors where the pads contact and then use a high temp paint and spray it with a few coats of black.

? this doesn't make since. If the brake pads don't touch to rub the rust off they are going to rust. So whats the issue? I saw many cars on the lot yesterday where the entire rotor is rusted because they haven't been driven since it rained. Once they get driven where the pads meet the rotors the rust will be gone but everywhere else the rust will remain. Non-issue.
Oh but of course you can paint them etc if this bugs you that much.
