Not quite ready for the group buy. The front installed with out a hitch, the rear not soon much. The shock they sent was way too long. Stock shock measures 19 1/2 fully extended. The shortest we could make the BC shock was 20 1/2. So boxed them up and sending them back. Also have an issue with the rear spring height, the most we could raise the car was 26 1/2 measured from ground to wheel arch. Need a longer spring (have an easy work around if they don't have a longer one) so you can start at stock height and lower from there. Left the front installed and just put the stock rear shock back on until they get me the correct one. Looks good measures 261/2 all the way around.

that sucks to hear... yea the fronts are exactly the same as the coupe... so that shouldn't be an issue at all... but it's just the rear struts that are different causing all the problems

If you don't slam the car, you should be able to get it within camber spec.

hey guys, just got the shipping notification from BC. they already have a solution for the rear shock and are sending it out today. they have fantastic customer service, even had to take a part to a machine shop today to have it milled to spec before shipping out. thought i would include a picture of the car sitting mostly on BC coilovers (stock rear shocks). measures 26.5 at all 4 corners from ground to top of wheel arch.

men, Wilbcol, thanks for the update. the ride looks sick on that drop. cant wait to see when the entire car is dropped properly on the coils. I just got my CV1s and its looks way too high so I cant wait for this to come thru as a option.

Got new rear shocks Friday, shop trying to install Wednesday. Hopefully everything will go smooth and the kit will be ready. I am going to send them my stock shock and spring for engineering just to make sure.

Yeah, can't wait. Also, what's the relative shop labor charge for the install if you don't mind me asking? What should the ballpark figure be?

Shop is $125 per hour, they are a Corvette specialty shop. Check them out LG Motorsports Wylie Texas. Probably 5 hours for the install of a complete kit.
