I agree this is a lame question! Hmm maybe I would look at buying a Porsche or a Corvette if I had $70K laying around

Just checked the Eibach site, they don't make springs for the 09 x sedan...
Where did you get yours?

I've had Eibachs on my last 2 Infinitis and am looking forward to installing them on my new Sedan as well. I wouldn't be worried as the ride is similar to stock and even with the Eibachs the harsh ride/bouncy ride isn't like other brands. They do a good job

I have Tanabe NF210 springs and love them. I've had them on my coupe, and now my sedan.

I had Eibachs, Tein H techs, Tanabe Pro-Sustec. Some are more comfortable then others but for me it is also about reliability and longevity. If you still want to have a identical stock quality ride then I would recommend you looking into 370z Sport springs. That is what i am running now. I don't know of anyone on this site that runs that. But if you go to g35driver, there are plenty of people that run that setup. To be honest the 370z springs on our sedan beats all of the aftermarket stuff made for our car. But that is just my opinion. There is absolutely no bounce, no harsh ride, reduced body roll, it corners like a champion, and its a minimal drop; 7/8" front and 5/8" rear. You can go to 370z.com and pick up a used set for $75-$100 bucks. That's where I got mine. It had 200 miles on it and I got it for $75 shipped.

^^^ only 5/8 in the rear? I don't think that's nearly enough in my opinion.

Any side-profile pics with the 370z springs? I'm curious to know how it compares to a stock G37s ride height.. similar or lower?

Yeah the drop is minimal. Some like it lower then others. For guys like myself I like to have a slight drop without sacrificing comfort. The spring rate for the 370 is much stiffer then the sedans. I drive my girlfriend's coupe all the time and it drives extremely similar to the 37 coupe, maybe a tad bit stiffer. I like it though.

I haven't taken pics of my car yet, but here are some pics of one of the guys on g35driver that ran 370z springs on his sedan.

Here is factory height.

This is with the 370z springs.

Can't go wrong with em IMO! I'm getting mine put on later this week as well, can't wait for my car to stop looking like a 4x4 GEEP

I read on G35Driver forum that the rear 370z springs do not work unless you shave the mounts, is that true?

Yes that is true. I shaved off 5/8" on the rubber mounts to even out height. A lot of people say its not good or it would effect the handling. But I have driven over a couple thousand miles and it drives great! I didnt't even feel that it was dropped. Truthfully, if I knew this mod before I would have not spent my money on all the other springs and coilovers.

ahhh.. nice pics qpham! The gap seems much smaller than the other pics i saw on g35driver. Hang on -- your ride is a 37S, not an X is it?

I think your drop looks perfect in those pics, but I believe on an X its going to sit a height near where your "before"/stock pics were at!
