I've been on BC's since May.
My drop is an "Eibach" drop. I just asked my installer guy to do the same drop I would get with the Eibach springs for the G37x. It came out quite nice and I can't really go lower at this point because this is my DD and I have a bunch of places I would scrape.

As for dampening setting...I was riding on 10 for a while (1=hardest, 30=softest). It was actually good for my ride to work b/c it's newly repaved roads but on other parts it was way too harsh. I am now at 25 and the ride feels soooo smooth but still very tight cornering.

The adjustment on the dampening is SO easy. The front are just on top of the strut tower. The back is on the side of the strut. All you have to do is jack the side you want to adjust up by an inch (no need to get wheel off the ground, just enough to let coil uncompress so there's more space in the wheel well). Then you can reach up through the wheel well and adjust the coil. I just re-adjusted mine and it took me 10 mins total. Love the BCs!!
