just want to give everyone an update - I know the coilover isnt blown (front driver side). Brought it to a friends shop. lifted the car. The coilover was fine. Nothing wrong with it. no leaks no shakey strut. Lubed everything up. Lubed the end links of the sway bar also.
My ride is still the same as first day installed. Smooth and softer than stock Sport springs.
-My only guess would be a messup with one of the sway bar endlinks. cross threaded the pass side. That might be my next investment a new set of sway bar endlinks + aftermarket sway bars.

911 - so you didn't find out what the was really causing the noise? Just assuming it's the sway end links? I believe I may be getting the same sound as your from the front driver's side and think it might also be the struts...

Brought it to his shop, lifted the car. The shock / strut was OK. No leaks, wasnt blown. didnt shake or nothing. He said he couldnt figure out what is was. The ride quality is not bad. Of course its better than stock (softer) but we just sprayed everything with lube lol

I also had an issue of an install that I did for a customer (a member of the forum too) where the fronts struts leaked after only a few thousand miles. Warranty denied due to improper installation. Which is complete BS. I have also installed 3 other sets of these Tanabes besides his (including my own when they first came out) and none of them are leaking. But I guess I just completely forgot how to properly install coilovers and damaged his during the install.

Whatever their warranty is isn't the issue. It's that when you send them a defective product for replacement they say it isn't defective and was improperly installed, thereby voiding the warranty. It's a BS excuse to keep from replacing defective products. I figured they might at least as a show of good faith offer replacements at a discounted price. Nope.

Even though it wasn't me personally, I'm deeply disappointed in a company I had previously thought and spoken of highly. I'm seriously rethinking buying another Tanabe medallion touring exhaust as I had planned or the new Z40 coilovers that will be available for our car's soon.
