Squeeky brakes and Eibachs

Hey guys....

Lately I've been hearing my brakes squeek more and more. I also have some squeeking on my Eibachs, I hear it often when I get off the car from the rear driver side.

I hardly remove my wheels so it's really dirty in there. (my car's a daily driver) Can a good cleaning do the trick? i.e. spray on brake cleaner, WD40 on the springs.

Had my dealer take a look at them a couple months back. They said it's still ok.

Do they tend to squeek more when its time to replace them?

yes, they usually will start squeaking when your pads are ready to be changed.

dealerships try to get the most out of stuff. one thing they like to do with rotors when they warp is sand them down.... it just gives them a shorter life span till it needs to be done again till eventually they need to be replaced

If you still have life out of your brakes, try this stuff.

The Eibachs will squeal when the paint/rubber sheath rubs off the coil. I don't think this compromises the integrity of the spring, but it is an aggravating sound.

My brakes squeak pretty bad as well and i m due for resurfacing of the discs and new pad at my next service. I may be going with aftermarket discs but still undecided. that sounds is really aggravating though.

If your brakes are squealing, changing to a different pad material is probably you're only option. You should also change the rotors when you do this, and I would recommend going with an aftermarket set up for it.

Your suspension is a totally different story, and I don't know what to do about it. Maybe put some type of lubricant on it?
