Hotchkis vs. GTspec

Hey i was just searching around the vendors on here and i was wonderin is there a huge difference between the hotchkis sway bars setup and the GT spec strut bars for the G coupe... I know for one thing there is a major difference in price. if they are somewhat the same which do you guys prefer. i heard these things make a huge difference on our rides!

sways will have a much bigger impact on handling. You are comparing 2 different items, 1 strut bar that mounts near engine bay vs. 2 bars that mount under the car Front and Rear.

Strut bars don't do anything. The only reason I have one is because it looks cool. Sways help a bit, but it's not like the OMGZ revelation that everyone talks about.

I actually just received my sways this week and will install em in the next couple of days. I've heard really good things with combination of sways and coilovers.

I just installed my front strut bar.

Contrary to what ipitythefoo says, I definitely noticed a difference in the handling. It's not a Lotus now, but the front end is definitely tightened up and the steering just feels right.

I think it was worth it for the price I paid. Just my $.02.

I have the GT-Spec Front Strut Bar. It goes in the engine bay and looks pretty good. Install was pretty easy.

The only tricky part is not getting it to rub. I just used some clearbra type material at the places it touched and that will save my engine cover from any damage.

here's a picture:

I put on the gtspec stb first and it made the car feel a little tighter going around turns or onto on ramps. when i put on the hotchkis sway bars it was a night and day difference. the car is more settled, feels more like my old 350z as far as handling goes. i don't know what the other guy is talking about when he says there is not a noticeable difference, one corner at speed and you'll feel the difference.
