I emailed Tanabe regarding the Sustec Pro S-OC TSC130, which is the coilover for the g37 sedan, to see if they would fit the g37x. Here's their reply to my email.

We have not done an official fit test on the AWD model but the best way to find out if they'll fit is to get the OEM part numbers for the shocks and compare them with the RWD/AWD models. If they're the same then they should work.

They actually said I should check myg37.com...lol.

Does anyone know if the shocks are the same for the x and rwd sedan? I would love to get the Tanabes.

If they fit they RWD they will NOT fit the AWD, the front strut is totally different. They will fit in the rear though. I have BC coilovers on my g37x coupe, no problems!

have had them on my x for a while, but i've had them set right in the middle of soft and hard (at 15 clicks from either side). A couple of days ago I set them more on the hard side (5 clicks from the middle towards hard), and all I can say is "wow". Car feels so much more connected to the road and steering feels a lot tighter. Ride is a bit harsher, but still very decent. Kind of feels BMWish stiff.
