Tein Basic Coilovers or Megan Coilovers

I am getting ready to buy a set of coilovers and these two are within my budget. I have read other car forums, but have been unable to find any info on what these would be like on the G37's. I want to know which one would be better for the G37 coupe. I will not be tracking my car, just daily driving. I just want to lower the car a little bit and still have the comfort of a G37. Have anyone tried these coilovers on their cars? Thanks

Megan would be my choice if I had to choose considering the options it comes with for that price

I just installed the new Megans on my buddies G sedan on Tuesday. They relocated the **** for dampening adjustment to the side of the rear shocks so they can be accessed without dismounting them... Very nice improvement! If I had to choose between these two choices I'd pick Megan hands down. They are very smooth ride, tons of height/lowering adjustabiltity and 32 way adjustable dampening. No complains with these coils as an affordable option.

I'm guessing by your avatar picture, you are completely slammed on the Megan coils?

Seems like Megans are your best bet. Let us know what you decide and post up pics of the finished effort.

I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure about the rules, but I wanted to post the same question until I came across this one.
I just upgraded from the G35 and the first thing I did was move over my 19" volk te37s, so now it looks like an off-roader.
I decided to go with the cheapest coilovers temporarily and found a shop that has the Megan MR-CDK-IG082D but he also offered me the Tein Street Basis TEIN-GSP92-1UAS2 for the same price. So now I'm leaning towards Tein because it's Japanese and from what I've read online the last few days that Tein is a more reliable/respected brand.
However, unlike the Op I'm willing to sacrifice on comfort for the best handling (mostly for canyons)

I've got the Megans and they've been good, I think I'd up my budget a bit though and look at KW V1. You've got some high dollar Volks, so a few hundred more for coils that are built for track duty would be money well spent IMO.

If you guys are RWD, the Stance coilovers are supposed to be pretty nice and they are about in-between the price of Megan and KW.

I plan on getting the KW V3 so that's why I wanna get one of these for now until I get the Kw. I can get the V3 for an extra $1000, but that's more than i wanna spend right now.

The cheapest way is to probably just wait until you're ready to buy the V3's then. Why buy a set and lose money reselling and time installing them? Do it right, do it once.
