When I was really into the Honda scene, Eibachs were just mediocre. Maybe they were a little above mediocre, but not by much.
Now I'm in the G scene and it seems Eibach is taken over. Is it because they are one of the very few companies that makes springs and suspension for the G?

I think its because the drastic difference in drop height between H&R and S-techs vs the eibach kit. S techs and H&R are both slammed close to 2 inches while eibach is just an inch where it cuts out the gap which most people like since they drive it daily. There are also H-techs but i hear that is lower in rear and higher in front. Basically coils are the way to go and now you see more and more people saving a little bit more money to buy coils and set their height to their desired level. Hope this helped

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I guess the decision is now between the Eibach Pro Kit and coil overs. If I were to take the coil over route, which brands are the best?

The best for ride quality are the KW coil overs. There is a big difference between springs and coils and your choice is dependent upon what you are trying to achieve. If you just to lower the car for looks and aren't that concerned about handling or responsiveness, then go with the springs. If you want to replicate the quality feel of the stock setup then I recommend the coils. Yes, the coils are more than the springs, but you get what you pay for.
I have coils for my daily driver and chose them because of the reasons above. I couldn't be happier. I had springs on my last car and didn't like the handling/ride quality loss.
