Hotchkis G37x Sway Bar Review
Finally I'm able to post my review. Well worth the wait and every penny spent.
To begin with, about two months ago I upgraded my wheels from the origional 17" stock setup to 19x8.5 Vossen VVS083's with Continental extremecontact dws tires (245/45ZR19). Running this all the way around because of the AWS. The Vossens are awesome and look great. The tires have been great as well.
Since then, the car has felt much looser. At times it has felt real floppy and bouncy; especially when coming hard into ramps, tight curves, and winding roads. It's very noticable when having a nice ride around I95 and 495 in DC. I'm not sure if it's the extra weight of the wheels and tires but deffinetly noticed a change in ride; even with the Ultra-High Perfomance DWS tires. The stock sway bars just can't keep up.
The Hotchkis bars are night and day. I'm running the stiffest setting in the front and the middle setting in the rear. The ride now has a very tight, strong feeling to it. Actually feels much safer. I've taken a trip around 95 and 495 and am very impressed. Picture a down hill slalom skier being in control and hitting all their gates. Now picture one who seems out of control and can't stay on the course. The change is night and day.

The ride definitely isn’t harsh. But rather nice and tight. I have no idea why Infiniti wouldn’t include it as a standard OEM setup. It just feels like ‘normal’ now. I guess if you don’t like to push your car, it may be a worthless upgrade for you and you may not care. But the G isn’t really a grocery getter and should be driven hard; from time to time.

ive noticed the ride slightly harsher when potholes are in a row. since the axels are less independent the car kinda bounced bcak and forth. But anyways i have a g37x and just put them on. Stiffest in the front and the back. Its WAY better, i also feel much safer. going on the highway at around 100kph ive noticed that i need to turn the wheel less to change lanes.
I need new tired now, i find myself taking turns much faster haha

It's great to hear the positive feedback on the Hotchkis sways. I will be adding them to my 09 xS sedan as soon as I can find someone qualified to do the install. If anyone can throw out a name of someone who does good work in the Central New Jersey area please do. I know it's not brain surgery to put them in, but I rather pay someone with expieriance to handle the job. Vinny Ten comes to mind first but they're at least 1 and a half hours from me.
