I have not seen any colored rotors. Im not even sure painting them would work since they get so hot and alot of friction. Maybe painting your calipers black is your only option. Have you tried doing a search?

I thought they come in black, then when you start to brake and season it out, the part where the brake pads are will eat out the black paint and reveal the actual rotors? isn't it that way?

there are these carbon rotors out there in the market but i am 100% sure nobody here would buy them. they probably cost maybe half of what our car is worth lol.

I put black rotors on my wifes car and that's what they did....i didn't use them for the looks, rather the black coating was much better to keep rust away

The rotor hat stays black though so some of it still looks decent

Adams rotors is the only company I've seen where you can get black (as well as several other colors) rotors

Kinetic rotors (from Brakemotive) can be had in black at least for the wifes Acura. I imagine you can do the same for the G, as they do list the rotors themselves for the car....i think the black gets put on afterwards if you ask for it. When I bought them for the wifes car it was 20.00 extra to get black (for all 4 rotors, so 5.00 each)

If 3-4 people place a group order with Stillen for complete car sets, we can do a special run in black. While we don't shelve them that way for cars, we do it as standard for trucks, large SUV's and armored vehicles.

I'm guessing the black zinc won't stay black correct? It will wear off?

Any plating on the friction surface (firepath) will come off pretty quickly, normally during initial pad bedding. It will stay on everywhere else for maximum corrosion protection.

^ perfect answer! thank you...

yes the point of zinc is to prevent rust from forming, so non-pad contact areas remain coated, protected, and in this case...aesthetically pleasing with a nice finish & two-tone look. the hub, slots, dimples, and vents all remain black or gold (or silver) while the face is constantly turned.

also...our third zinc option, gold:
